How Shy FX changed the game with Original Nutta
Mi a' di nuttah Original mad, ma-mad, ma-mad nuttah Original man-a-man-a-man-a-man-a-man-a-man-a-man-a-man-a nuttah
Come on, we've all been there!
Gun fingers in the air trying to keep up with UK Apache's mad delivery on this iconic dancefloor banger.
In 1994, Shy FX's Original Nuttah became one of the first ever Jungle tracks to break into the official top 40!
The catalyst for the track came a few years before Original Nuttah in the late 1980s. A Shy FX track called "Gangsta Kid" featured an explosive drop that included that iconic siren, the famously energetic breakbeats. This is where UK Apache first laid down some high-octane bars.
There's no denying that the two creatives complemented each other, and as soon as the dubplate for Original Nuttah dropped it was circulating Jungle raves like wildfire.

Since 2012 Shy has been pulling huge crowds at Boomtown. He's one of our most requested artists and has packed out Lions Den, Origin and many more stages over the years. It's always one of the highlights for the ravers who appreciate the old school!
Recon this year will be any different?
No chance!
