Plans for Boomtown’s Future

We’re planning for Boomtown to grow back out of Downtown and return to the surrounding hills, providing more space for you all to decompress and enjoy all our festival has to offer.  

We’ve officially submitted our plans to the South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA).

• Host Boomtown annually for the next five years at the Matterley Estate
• Increase the planning permission capacity from 65,999 to 76,999 attendees, which includes 1,000 Sunday tickets reserved for the local community.
• Enhance our commitments to managing impacts on ecology, transport, sound, and lighting, ensuring that Boomtown continues to bring cultural, social, and economic benefits to the local area.
• Deliver a 10% Biodiversity Net Gain, contributing positively to the natural beauty of the South Downs.
